Fourth graders, we had a fabulous day today!  We heard many compliments from those we came into contact with throughout the day.  Thank you for being representatives for Jesus today!  And thank you, God, for a perfect day for our trip!

Some thoughts to prompt your comments:
  1. If the Michigan Historical Museum had a section for the 21st century (the 2000s), what would be included in it so far?
  2. What was your favorite educational part of the trip?
  3. What was your favorite social part of the trip?
  4. After spending time in our state's capitol, what is your role as a responsible Christian citizen of the state of Michigan?
You can find a few additional photos from our trip here.

  5. It was kinda freekie when you saw the miner looking at you. I liked the mining also Trevor. I also liked the native american area.It was really cool to look into the dome what about the rest of you? I wish I had a camara with me. The museum was very facinating. I was so interested in the past. It was fun to think that my great-grandmother was alive in most of the 20th century and still is today. I wonder what it was like to live all through world war 2. It was cool that we got to see the state capital and where the governer spends a lot of time. I wish sam could have been there.

  11. Well I am doing number two and my favorite part of the Lansing trip was when we went to the mining part when we say the miner in the cave and when we say how low the miners worked under ground it was so creepy because imagine if a miner fell down that holl they could brack a bone or brack alot of bones in there body and the fall would hurt bad. Also there is another one that I like and that was when we laed down and say all the floors in the capital building it was so awesome to see all the floors in the capital building and I wish that we could go there some time again this year because it was the funnist feild trip I ever had in all the years I was in school.
