Market Day Preparations

Of the six preparations listed on your Market Day checklist, which one do you think is most important?  Here is the list:

1.  YOUR PRODUCTS - Be sure to bring them to school with you by Wednesday.  Know exactly how many products you have to sell.
2.  YOUR PRICE - Be clear on how much you will charge.  Think through how you will calculate the total if someone purchases more than one.  (Will you need a calculator or a pad of paper and pencil?)
3.  YOUR CHANGE - Bring sufficient change ($5-7) to school with you on Wednesday.  Figure out what you will keep it in and how you will keep it secure.  Know exactly how much change you are bringing to use!  (It would be helpful to practice making change at home.)
4.  YOUR DISPLAY - We will hang your sign/poster on the front of your table, but think about if you want to bring a tablecloth or some boxed on which to set your products.  (No need to purchase items to use in your display.  Use what you have.)
5.  YOUR CLOTHING - Some of you mentioned in your commercials that you would be wearing a certain hat or bandana or shirt.  Be SURE to wear it if you said it!  They will be looking for you!
6.  YOUR ATTITUDE - Pray about the day and your Market Day experience.  Come with a positive attitude, knowing you may not sell everything you made.  Focus on learning as much as possible about running a business.  Be prepared to have fun and enjoy the experience.

    I think if you have a bad attitude people will not buy your product.

    If you expect to sell all your products you will not be very happy if you don't sell out. If I were you I would go with an open mind.
    And Nathan, I do agree with you. If you do not have an attitude that will please people, you will have trouble having good profit. You may even have a loss - that would not be the best for you. Most important you want to have an attitude that pleases God.

    I think that the most importent thing is to have a good attitude because people will think it is cool soooooooooo you might sell out. HAPPY SELLING

    I think that Market Day is very fun,but slightly stressfull. The experience is neat too.

    I noticed that if you had a good attitude shoppers would like you more, than you would sell out faster.
